2. Website Information
The information presented on this website is provided primarily for general information, education, consultation, and business-development purposes.
Website content does not by itself constitute a binding offer, quotation, engineering specification, project contract, warranty, or guarantee.
Specific project obligations are determined by the written quotation, proposal, scope of work, purchase order, service agreement, or other contract applicable to that project.
Where a signed project agreement conflicts with general website information, the applicable signed agreement will govern the project.
3. Consultations and Site Assessments
Information provided through our website, including information submitted through enquiry or quotation forms, may be used to conduct preliminary assessments.
A final system design, equipment selection, installation method, project price, expected generation, financial projection, and project timeline may depend on:
- Physical site conditions
- Electricity consumption
- Electrical infrastructure
- Roof or ground conditions
- Shading
- Orientation and available installation area
- Grid conditions
- Equipment availability
- Applicable regulations
- Utility requirements
- Customer requirements
- Engineering assessment
Onix may require a physical or technical site assessment before confirming a project.
4. Quotations and Proposals
Any quotation or proposal issued by Onix is subject to the terms and validity period stated in that quotation.
A quotation may specify:
- System capacity
- Equipment
- Scope of work
- Installation requirements
- Project price
- Payment milestones
- Estimated generation
- Estimated savings
- Estimated return on investment
- Project timeline
- Warranty information
- Applicable exclusions
A quotation does not become a binding project agreement until accepted in accordance with its stated terms and any required contractual documentation has been completed.
5. Solar System Performance
Solar-system performance depends on a range of factors, including sunlight, weather, shading, orientation, system design, equipment efficiency, dust, grid conditions, electricity consumption, maintenance, and operating conditions.
Accordingly, projections provided during consultation or shown on the website are estimates unless expressly identified as contractual guarantees in a signed project agreement.
Where Onix provides a specific performance, savings, or ROI guarantee in a signed agreement, that guarantee will be governed exclusively by the conditions, assumptions, exclusions, measurement methodology, and remedies stated in that agreement.
6. ROI and Savings
Onix may provide estimated or project-specific calculations regarding:
- Electricity-bill savings
- Energy generation
- Payback period
- Return on investment
- Battery economics
- Energy-cost reduction
These calculations depend on assumptions including electricity tariffs, energy consumption, solar irradiation, system performance, equipment costs, financing arrangements, applicable regulations, and future utility policies.
General figures published on the website are not automatically contractual guarantees.
Any guaranteed ROI or financial-performance commitment must be expressly stated in a written agreement or quotation issued by Onix and will be subject to the terms and conditions stated therein.
7. Equipment and Manufacturer Warranties
Solar panels, inverters, batteries, EV chargers, and other equipment may be supplied with warranties provided by their respective manufacturers.
Manufacturer warranties are subject to:
- Manufacturer terms and conditions
- Product registration requirements
- Installation requirements
- Operating conditions
- Maintenance requirements
- Warranty exclusions
- Availability of manufacturer support
Onix may assist customers with applicable warranty processes, but the scope of any manufacturer warranty is determined by the relevant manufacturer’s warranty documentation.
Unless expressly stated in a written Onix agreement, Onix does not represent that a manufacturer’s warranty provides unlimited or unconditional coverage.
8. Installation and Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for providing Onix and its personnel with reasonable access to the relevant property and installation areas.
Customers may be required to provide:
- Accurate electricity and project information
- Safe site access
- Necessary approvals or documentation
- Access to electrical infrastructure
- Access to the roof, ground, electrical room, or other relevant areas
- Information regarding existing electrical systems
- Cooperation during installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance
Failure to provide required access, information, approvals, or cooperation may affect project timelines and costs.
9. Project Timelines
Any installation or project timeline communicated through the website, quotation, proposal, or consultation is subject to the conditions applicable to the project.
Timelines may be affected by:
- Site conditions
- Customer readiness
- Equipment availability
- Import or logistics delays
- Weather
- Utility requirements
- Regulatory approvals
- Grid conditions
- Force majeure events
- Changes requested by the customer
Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing, project timelines are estimates rather than absolute guarantees.
10. Net Metering and Regulatory Approvals
Where applicable, Onix may assist customers with processes relating to grid interconnection, net metering, utility approvals, inspections, or related regulatory requirements.
Such approvals are controlled by relevant authorities, utilities, distribution companies, and regulatory bodies.
Onix cannot guarantee the decision, processing time, tariff, approval, or policy of an independent government, utility, or regulatory authority unless expressly agreed in writing.
11. Battery Energy Storage Systems
Battery systems may be designed for applications including:
- Backup power
- Energy optimization
- Peak-demand management
- Renewable-energy utilization
- Energy independence
Actual battery backup duration and performance depend on battery capacity, connected loads, load patterns, system configuration, battery condition, ambient conditions, and other factors.
Backup performance estimates are not guarantees unless expressly included as contractual commitments.
12. EV Charging Infrastructure
Onix may provide EV charging infrastructure for residential, commercial, workplace, private, public, or other suitable environments.
Charging performance depends on the charger specification, vehicle compatibility, electrical infrastructure, available power, installation configuration, and vehicle charging requirements.
Onix is not responsible for limitations imposed by an EV manufacturer’s vehicle specifications or third-party charging networks unless expressly agreed otherwise.
13. Monitoring and Maintenance
Where monitoring and maintenance services are included in a project or service agreement, the scope of those services will be determined by the applicable agreement.
Monitoring may assist in identifying performance issues, faults, or abnormal operating conditions, but remote monitoring cannot guarantee that every fault or failure will be detected immediately.
Maintenance requirements may vary according to the system, equipment, site conditions, manufacturer requirements, and service plan.
14. Payments
The Onix website does not currently process online payments.
Where a customer engages Onix for products or services, payment arrangements, milestones, deposits, taxes, and other financial obligations will be specified in the applicable quotation, invoice, purchase order, or project agreement.
15. Cancellation and Changes
Project cancellation, postponement, scope changes, equipment changes, or other modifications will be governed by the applicable quotation or project agreement.
Where work, procurement, equipment ordering, engineering, or installation has already commenced, cancellation or changes may result in applicable charges or adjustments as stated in the relevant agreement.
